__How to figure quilting and binding costs__

(Example)

If the quilt top to be quilted is 90" X 106" you would figure pricing this way...

**Quilting**

1) (Width X Length = total square inches) 90 X 106 = 9540 squre inches

2) (Square inches X .0075 = quilting cost) 9540 X .0075 = $71.55

Batting

3) (Square inches X .0020 = batting cost) 9540 X .0020 = $19.08

Total quilting cost

4) (quilting + batting = total quilting cost) $71.55 + $19.08 = **$90.63**

**Binding**

1) ([Width X 2] + [Length X 2] = Total Linear inches) (90 X 2) + (106 X 2) = 392

**or**

(Width + Width + Length + Length = Total Linear inches) 90 + 90 + 106 + 106 = 392

Attach only (for you to finish)

(Total Linear inches X .05) 392 X .05 = **$19.60**

**or**

Hand-Finished (I hand finish for you)

(Total Linear inches X .25) 392 X .25 = $**98.00**
